Our Story
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the world slowed down, I found myself reflecting on life in ways I hadn’t before. With so much uncertainty around us, I began to think more deeply about the food we were buying, cooking, and consuming. I wanted to give my two young kids something as simple and nourishing as bread, but without the long list of additives and preservatives often found in store-bought loaves.
What started as a curiosity led me to experiment with yeast-based bread, and soon after, I made the transition to sourdough. The process was both a challenge and a joy, and once I discovered the art of sourdough baking, there was no turning back. It’s become a true passion, one I’m excited to share with others as I teach the craft of baking from scratch.
